In October 2015, Hi-Force shareholders, employees, distributors and customers celebrated the official opening of the new Hi-Force Malaysia premises. Although purchased in September 2014, the building underwent comprehensive renovation works to ensure it was tailored to meet the exacting requirements of the company. These requirements included not only sufficient office space for the growing team, but a larger warehouse facility for increased stock holding, a fully equipped workshop facility for repairs and testing, as well as an ECITB approved training school complete training rigs and sufficient space for both practical and theoretical sessions.
The significant rise in business levels, together with the increasing demand for UK manufactured products demanded this recent investment. The new wholly owned facility has a total area of 14,000 square feet and built up area of 9,800 square feet.
Hi-Force Malaysia was officially declared open on Thursday 29th October by Mr. Paul Rennie – acting high commissioner of the British High Commission Malaysia, James Chan – vice president of the industry and market enables of Malaysia Petroleum Resources Corporation, S. Vaideaswaran – Regional Director of Hi-Force Malaysia and Kevin Brown – Group Managing Director of Hi-Force.
During the opening celebrations, Hi-Force Malaysia was also declared Engineering Construction Industry Training Board (ECITB) approved by Jason Riley – Business Development Manager of the ECITB.
