Hi-Force hosts biennial distributor conference in the UK

In April 2017, Hi-Force head office, located in Daventry U.K., hosted its biennial distributor conference, welcoming is global network of distributors from more than 50 countries, as well as managers, directors and shareholders from within its own network of regional offices.
The 2 day event included presentations and workshops on various topics, each focusing on driving the sales of Hi-Force products and services worldwide. The conference began with an insight into the most popular Hi-Force products from the last year, with a focus on high capacity cylinders that are available both as standard catalogue items, as well as unique specials that are custom made to suit unique customer requirements. The delegation then split into groups and moved through a series of workshops, focussing on an introduction to the recently launched BOLTRIGHT PRO joint integrity software, a practical and theoretical introduction to the new TLA Toughlift Jacking system, insight into the various training courses offered by Hi-Force, latest product developments and special design products from the design and engineering department, as well as marketing and promotional support.
On day 2, delegates took the opportunity to take a tour of the Hi-Force manufacturing facilities to see first-hand the manufacturing, assembly and testing of Hi-Force products, as well as touring the expansive logistics centre, training school and offices all housed within the 20,000 square feet facility. Hi-Force sales engineers, managers and directors then presented numerous application case studies across a wide range of industries, providing insight to the delegation of vast range of requirements for Hi-Force products. Finally, delegates were left inspired after an out-the-box presentation from key note speaker, Caspar Berry, on taking risk.
The event was also utilised to announce the Hi-Force business partner award winners. Each year, Hi-Force recognises and celebrates the success of its global distributor network through running a competition, providing Hi-Force distributors with the opportunity to be crowned ‘Business Partner of the Year’ or ‘Highest Revenue of the Year’ award winners. The competition runs from April 1st to March 31st each year, with monthly updates on how the competition is playing out, circulated to each distributor every month.
The business partner of the year award offers Gold, Silver and Bronze recognition and is based upon Hi-Force distributors achieving, and often surpassing, the agreed target spend with Hi-Force. The winners for 2016-2017 were announced as 2M Makina or Turkey, Bewo-Tech of Poland and Better Bolting of the U.S.A. Recognition was also give to a further 4 distributors, who had each achieved over 100% of their set target.
The highest revenue award, which recognises distributors with the highest overall spend with Hi-Force, celebrated a double award winner as 2M Makina of Turkey were crowned with another Gold Award. H.E.S. Sales Limited, the exclusive Hi-Force distributor for England and Wales achieved the Silver award, and I.H.E. of Oman, were awarded third place with the Bronze award.
The 2 day event proved to be a great success for all involved, offering a fantastic opportunity for Hi-Force distributors to obtain more information about Hi-Force products, services and the business as a whole, as well as a networking opportunity between each distributor and the Hi-Force team.
In his closing speech, Hi-Force Group Managing Director Kevin Brown thanked all of the distributor network for their loyalty and dedication to Hi-Force and their attendance to the most important event on the Hi-Force Calendar. The next event will take place April 2019, however the Business Partner competition is already in full swing for the 2017-18 period.
