H.E.S Sales Limited has announced it will be relocating to a new, wholly owned facility on the Royal Oak Industrial Estate in Daventry, in April 2016. Having had a presence in Daventry since 1968, H.E.S Sales Limited is a leading UK based supplier of a wide range of hydraulic, pneumatic and electric tools, and associated repair and rental services. An additional facility is also located in Rotherham, South Yorkshire.
The existing H.E.S. facilities, located within the Hi-Force building on Prospect Way, are simply too small for the Business and with substantial growth, in recent years, the company has simply outgrown the premises. The new facility comprising of 14,000 square feet of built up area houses 10,000 square feet of fully equipped workshop and warehouse, plus an additional 4,000 square feet office complex, with a Training School and Conference facility, which starts construction in mid-September 2015.
Announcing the expansion, H.E.S Sales Limited Managing Director, Andrew Moorhouse commented “We are obviously delighted to be relocating to our own, much larger facility so that we can continue to expand and cope with our current, double digit growth levels. The new premises on Daimler Close will double our available space. Once relocated, I am sure we will be looking to take on additional employees, which can only be good for the business and the town of Daventry. Of course, we will retain the fantastic back office support in terms of Group Services that we currently receive from Hi-Force”.
Kevin Brown, Group Managing Director of both H.E.S Sales and Hi-Force Operations worldwide also commented, “Hi-Force worldwide business has expanded significantly in recent years, and as someone that started his working life at H.E.S Sales almost 40 years ago, I am delighted that the Group Board has approved this investment, it is only right that we now invest in a much larger purpose modified facility, giving H.E.S Sales its own corporate identity. H.E.S. Sales are very grateful to Northamptonshire Enterprise Partnership (NEP) for their valued financial assistance by way of a grant towards the cost of this exciting project. Moving H.E.S Sales to their own facility will bring additional benefits to Hi-Force, it will free up over 8,000 square feet of space in Prospect Way for further planned expansion for Hi-Force. I am delighted that we have also finalised the Office Extension Contract, at the new H.E.S. building, with a long established local builder, D.J. Hutchings Limited of Towcester, which will ensure our investment brings added revenue to the local area.”
