A team of Hi-Force onsite engineers were deployed to Kuwait to carry out 50% tensioning on a flange, with a diameter of over 10 meters. 78 STS6 Hi-Force bolt tensioners were used on the 156 bolt flange, powered by two AHP275BTU air driven pumps. The bolt sizes on the flange were 3 ½”.  The project, commissioned by Equate Petrochemical company of Kuwait, involved the largest reactor in the Middle East. A total of 10 Hi-Force onsite engineers spend two days tensioning the flange.
