Hi-Force Opens New Regional Office and Training School in Malaysia

Hi-Force celebrated the opening of its new premises in Selangor Malaysia by holding an open day event which welcomed shareholders, employees, distributors, customers, suppliers, contractors and representatives from the British High Commission and Malaysia Petroleum Resources Company.
Guests received a welcome reception followed by speeches from Hi-Force Group Managing Director Kevin Brown and Regional Director S. Vaideeaswaran. Both thanked delegates for attending and spoke briefly on Hi-Force’s history of business in Malaysia and how the new, wholly owned facility, is supporting Hi-Force customers in the region to a whole new level. S. Vaideeaswaran also announced that the new premises had also been approved by the Engineering construction industry training board (ECITB) to deliver mechanical joint integrity training courses, the day before the opening celebrations.
Mr. Paul Rennie OBE, acting High Commissioner of British High Commission in Malaysia congratulated the Hi-Force shareholders and employees on the new premises and spoke of the importance of business like Hi-Force having a presence in Malaysia. James Chan, Vice-President of Industry & Market Enabler of Malaysia Petroleum Resources Corporation completed the speeches and spoke on how it encouraging it is, to see British Companies making great strides in Malaysia.
The celebrations concluded with a tour of the premises, which has a built up area of 9,800 square feet. In addition to the impressive reception area, the new premises also includes a well-equipped workshop for repair and rental services, an ECITB approved training school, and a significantly larger warehouse to accommodate an increased stock holding.
