Hi-Force Malaysia recently carried out bolt tightening works on the Lekir Bulk Terminal for Lumit Maritime Terminal SDN BHD in Malaysia. Lekit Bulk Terminal is currently South East Asia’s largest dry bulk unloading facility, dedicated to handling coal. The application required 32 bolts of size M48 (75mm AF) to be tightened on close and holding wire rope drum mounting bolts, to an accurate torque of 3500 Nm.

Two Hi-Force technicians were deployed to carry out the bolt tightening works using Hi-Force’s square drive hydraulic torque wrench (TWS45N) powered by an electric Hi-Force torque wrench pump (HTWP).
