Hi-Force Torque wrench used to carry out maintenance in wind Turbine farm

Dutch Energy supplier, Delta invested in Hi-Force torque wrenches to inspect the torque settings of each of the bolts, across 26 turbines. Each turbine had a total of 337 bolts, resulting in the inspection over more than 8,500 bolts.

The TWS45N square drive hydraulic torque wrench was used throughout the project, powered by the HTWP Torque wrench pump, used with HTWH 6 meter high pressure hydraulic hoses and a series of sockets.

As well as inspection, Hi-Force bolting products can also be used for initial erection and maintenance of wind turbines.
